Matthew Goddard-Jones is a British born fine artist and photographer with studios in The Cotswolds UK and Connecticut USA.
He graduated from The London College of Printing with an Honors Degree in Graphic Design. Then studied at The Pratt Institute in New York for his Masters.
He went on to become an award winning photographer, whose work has been featured in publications such as National Geographic.
Over the years, Matthew has found his expression through oil painting.
Working from studios in both the Cotswolds hills UK and rural Connecticut, Matthew Goddard-Jones’ paintings are a passionate reflection of the surroundings that have shaped his life. Metal tools scratching directly into large wooden panels, these studies in oil and mixed media are mesmerising pieces, each developed over many months, capturing the surfaces, flora, days changing light and the passage of time.
Matthew’s work is currently on show at The Royal Academy of Arts, London.
